Longest agitation against corruption: I,Master Vijay Singh belong vill.Chausana,Distt.Muzaffar-nagar, U.P.(INDIA) from 26 Feb.1996, he is on Agitation at opp. the D.M. off.,M.Nnagar.He has been on satyagrah for more than 16 Yrs. and the illegal land grabbing of public land approx 4000 bighas worth net Rs 120 crores. This movement recorded against corruption as longest one man agitation in India Limca Book Records 2011.He demands that U.P.Govt.public property should be freed from the land mafias and hence be distributed in the poor sections and farmers below poverty lines or Public Sector Enterprises. State agency and others found the charges to be correct. After that 136 cases were logged against these land mafias. On the direction of the Secretary, Home, Distt. Admin. has freed about 300 bighas land from the illegal possession and Rs.81000/- has been deposited in Govt. account as a fine. As many as 3200 bighas land was found involved in this public land scam. The inquiry is still continuing, because of pol.pressure.This property was grabbed by an pol. mafia and others with nexus of corrupt revenue officials.
